D: Which subject? 哪科?
A: All of the subjects.I skipped so many classes. 所有科目。我逃了很多課。

D: Did you prepare for the proficiency test?你準(zhǔn)備英語(yǔ)能力測(cè)驗(yàn)了嗎?
A: I wanted to, but I didn`t know how. I guess I`ll just have to do my best.我想準(zhǔn)備.但是

D: I don`t think there`s really any way to prepare.我實(shí)在不知道該怎么準(zhǔn)備.

S:Hey, the exam is supposed to test our English ability, not how well we can stay up
cramming the night before the test. 嘿.這次考試是用來(lái)測(cè)試我們的英文能力.而不是測(cè)驗(yàn)

A:Well, that may be so -..嗯.或許如此--
D: It is. And doing poorly is not necessarily a bad thing.的確是這樣.而且考不好也不見(jiàn)得

D:But if we do poorly, we`ll have to take special classes.但如果我們考不好.我們就得上
一些特殊的課.
S:Yes, but we`ll need those classes. If we do poorly on the test, then we do need extra

D:That`s true, I guess. Classes are going to be difficult even for native speakers.我覺(jué)得

D:And they`re going to be murder for anyone whose English isn`t up to par.而任何英文
不夠好的人都會(huì)覺(jué)得痛苦萬(wàn)分.

S:Why don`t we join an English club to practice English conversation?我們加入英語(yǔ)俱
樂(lè)部來(lái)練習(xí)英語(yǔ)會(huì)話.如何?
D:Good idea! That would be a great way to meet people.好主意!那倒是交際的好方法.

S:Your final exam will be at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, December 17th.期末考試是12月17號(hào)

A: Where will we take the exam?在哪里考呢?
D: I`m not sure which hall the register will assign to us. During reading period I`m sure
hey will have posted the exam location list. Check then.我不太清楚教務(wù)處安排我們

D:The final will be 60% of your grade, so it is obviously a key factor. Obviously you want

A:How long will the test take? It`s not a take-home, is it? 考試時(shí)間多長(zhǎng)?不能拿回去寫(xiě)吧?

好.一定要在教室里寫(xiě).

S:Once again, no such luck. You can only use your pencils to write down whatever know
